JOSHUA TREE STYLED ELOPEMENT

We had the incredible privilege of partnering with the Carly Rae Weddings team on this project and they made my subtle '70s under-toned wedding dreams come true.

It was a dreary January evening and much to Jeremy’s dismay, I was watching ABBA music videos…without headphones. Not one or two, but HOURS worth of ABBA music videos. I was screenshoting different frames and swooning over the bellbottom jumpsuits and orange/yellow/sunshine color palettes. One thing led to another and I was sending Carly and her team a styled elopement mood board. One thing led to another and our flights to California were booked!

Shooting at the famous Joshua Tree National Park during sunset was surreal. The dessert has to be one of the most stunning backdrops! There are so many perfect locations for elopements. If you’re planning an intimate wedding, you may want to SERIOUSLY consider this spot for your ceremony. It was a dream come true and I’d fly back in a heartbeat!
